Acheron HexaLug CT Flash Hider 7.62

Rugged and effective flash hider with classic birgcage cuts and HexaLug interface.
The use of a flash hider is imperative on all rifles that are also going to be used unsuppressed but can’t show any muzzle flash.

Compatible with all 7.62 mm suppressors featuring our HexaLug quick attach mounting system. Due to the one-way compatibility of HexaLug it is generally impossible to install a suppressor of a smaller caliber. This eliminates the risk of a 5.56 mm suppressor being installed on a 7.62 mm flash hider. The HexaLug CT Flash Hider is an exception:

Important Note: Older suppressor models that were not yet equipped with the HUB system (specifically the ACS, Art. No. 110-009-060 and the ACS-K, Art. No. 110-009-061) achieved caliber differentiation via the length of the first chamber. However, the birdcage design of the HexaLug CT flash hider relies on the internal diameter increasing toward the front. As a result, the front opening of the flash hider is too large, and caliber differentiation based on length no longer functions. In this specific configuration, it is possible to mount a 5.56 mm suppressor onto a 7.62 mm flash hider. HUB adapters are not affected by this issue, as they utilize diameter-based caliber differentiation.

Thread Size Guide:

• • 5/8″ – 24 UNEF
    Standard thread size on almost all American made rifles chambered in a 7.62 mm caliber.
  • M14 x 1
    Fits all variants of the Czech made vz.58, occasionally found on hunting rifles. Does not fit AK47/AKM.
  • M14 x 1L
    Fits all AK47/AKM variants except for newer ones with the M24 x 1.5 thread (AK-103, AK-104, etc.).
  • M15 x 1
    Fits Haenel CR300 and CR308 as well as many other rifles. Does not fit HK MR308 and HK roller-delayed guns (G3, etc.)
  • M15 x 1 HK
    Specifically designed to cover the cylindrical section between the muzzle thread and the shoulder on an HK MR308. Do not use this with rifles made by Haenel.
  • M16 x 1
    Not very common, sometimes found on hunting rifles.
  • M18 x 1
    Some bolt action precision rifles with heavier barrels are threaded M18 x 1.

Other thread sizes may be introduced later on.
